Our baby girl was born at 6:43am on June 7, 2018. She weighed 7lb and 4 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. She has a full head of dark brown hair and is simply perfect. We are so in love with the miracle that she is and the joy that she will inevitably bring. We have been showered with love and support from people in all of our walks of life. There just are no words to thank everyone....

Jason was with me throughout. This meant sitting overnight during my labor in his power chair-it was easily for more than 24 hours. This meant no sleep for a disease that is already tiring without activity. His mom was there all night with him and my mom was there to encourage me. Jason's dad and my stepdad were there all night for support as well in the waiting room.
There were some obstacles that ALS created, like them not allowing him into the OR for the inevitable C-section (after an unsuccessful 25 hours of labor and 4.5 hours of "pushing"), but they did allow him in the PACU. We used a much needed wagon (thanks Carlos! we saw how handy it was before the baby even arrived!) for moving all his equipment. Overall, the staff was so accommodating to our situation. Jason knew how much I needed and wanted him with me. To me, this shows he will be such a good Daddy, doing anything for his girls <3
