Team Captain awards

Any event that gets us out of the house, in my head, is a date! HAHA

The ALS Association does a Team Captain awards event after completion of the walk (back on October 7) just to get together again, hand out awards, update everyone on the status of fundraising, catch up, meet each other, etc We did not make this event last year, but planned well in advance to make it this year. It was at the 5 Season's Brewery in Sandy Springs. They had appetizers and a cookie cake. Our team got 1st place this year! At the time of the awards event, the Atlanta chapter had just reached the $625,000 goal, making it the 2nd largest chapter in the US!

We sat with 2 volunteers that have been participating in the walk and a golf tournament fundraiser for YEARS. It was nice to meet Jarid and Deb. It was also great to catch up with Liza and Emma. We got to meet another walk team member, Kelsey too:)
