Glassouse

We got some amazing new glasses in the mail while in Maine. They had to be signed for, so they left a nice little note on the door saying how to pick them up. The problem was that they planned to return to sender before we made it back. And...they came from China. So, our amazing neighbor, Angela went to the post office to retrieve. After a phone call to me, those fancy glasses were in her possession and we were excited to install when we got home.

When we got home, my technology illiterate self was having issues, then we ended up in the ICU with pneumonia. Jason's coworker Wes came by last Friday to help! The tears that I held back Friday night were not because I anticipated that I may lose Jason to his computer all weekend looking at football articles! It was because of the new independence these will give him. The glasses use bluetooth and acts as a mouse with head movement. The blue bite thing is how Jason clicks the mouse.

All the trouble of getting them and installing them was worth it! I don't think Jason has surfed the internet since the first few months of this year, easily for the past 6 months. I plan to put him on bill paying duty ;) He did pay the electric bill in the bottom photo.

(side note....going away for 3 weeks in the summer in Georgia halved that bill. We will keep this in mind when we plan our next trip!)
