Company for my Birthday

November 11, 2016 to November 14, 2016

I had surprise visitors for my birthday. All along, I thought we were driving to North Carolina for a gender reveal party for Danny and Karen. But it turns out that Liz had organized a visit from Adie, Steve, Nate, and Casey. I had thought she went to work and was waiting for her to return early Friday afternoon when she walked in. Jackson started freaking out, and coming in behind her were four of my best friends who decided to visit for my birthday.

(Liz's version: It was Adie's idea and was about a month in planning for these guys to arrange to coming to Georgia. 3 of them even had wives and kids to arrange, so it was pretty impressive. Nate and Casey flew from Arizona. Adie and Steve flew from Maine. They arranged their flights to make it easiest on me. It was truly a surprise. Adie and Steve actually Facetimed with Jason the night before before for a Thursday night football game and I pulled off pretending to go to work pretty well, going instead to buy groceries, run errands, and to the airport!)

We hung out for 3 days catching up and watching football. The guys helped by doing some yardwork and cleaned the chimney on Saturday. Casey had fun with the leaf blower. It was awesome seeing everyone. I can't thank Inga, Jamie, and Alison enough for lending me their husbands for the weekend.

My birthday was November 9. I got a lot of love for my 33rd birthday, including Liz making the cake my Mom used to make using her recipe and my Mom and Dad sending Pat's Pizza via overnight delivery.
