with Emma

We go to Maine every summer and went in June. It is always a week long or more trip to hang out with family and friends, but we decided to be tourists too! Along with Jason's parents, we went on the mail boat tour of the islands of Casco Bay with a nice dinner in Portland after.

We spent the day at Sebago Lake with Emma and Jen.

Josh and Sarah got married!

After the wedding, we got to spend a few nights with Josh and Sarah at his Dad's camp near Pittsfield on Big Moose Lake. Beautiful sunsets!

ALS related: The shaking hands thing got Jason again. We had been able to tell most people, but not everyone. Each phone call we had to be the support for the person we were calling. We had to answer questions and just be prepared, so not everyone knew yet. Shaking hands with friends at Josh and Sarah's wedding, they noticed a difference and asked what was "wrong." For years, every summer, Jason helps put Adie's parents dock in on Sebago lake. He still got in that freezing water (it may be June, but in my opinion that lake is always cold! It freezes over in the winter and people ice fish on it) with me nervous the entire time.
