Wedding April 2016

Elizabeth and I met in August 2011 on a mutual friend beach trip to Wrightsville Beach, NC. When we met, she lived in NC and I lived in Atlanta. We long distance dated until she moved to Georgia in April 2013. I proposed on August 15, 2015 with those same mutual friends during our annual beach trip on Oak Island Beach, NC.

We got married in Beaufort, North Carolina surrounded by amazing family and friends.

Although a few family members knew of the progress of my diagnosis, I did not want to share with everyone until after our wedding. I wanted this day to be about us and about our love for one another.

ALS related (written by Liz): People were definitely noticing the loss of strength in Jason's right hand. He shakes hands with his right. The guys helped him button buttons and tie his tie being I was in a bridal suite getting ready. Otherwise, ALS had little presence at our wedding!
